(Forms Available Below For Futurity Program)
Following is a brief explanation of the Futurity Program.
NOMINATE
The term "nominate" means to make foals resulting from stallions
and mares that have paid a fee (called a nomination fee) eligible to
be shown in futurity classes. A horse CANNOT become eligible
for the futurity in any other way. To "nominate" your stallion/mares,
you just need to fill out the
2008 IMHOA Futurity Stallion and Mare Nomination Form
and send it with the correct
fees ($25.00 Stallion/$5.00 Mare) to the Futurity Board. See Rules
Page 1 of 3, Item 1, A & B. You may duplicate the form as needed.
SUSTAIN - YEARLINGS (FOALS OF 2007)
The term "sustain" means to keep a horse eligible to be shown in the
futurity classes. If you nominated your stallions/mares last year (2007)
ALL OF THE RESULTING 2007 FOALS ARE STILL ELIGIBLE for the 2008
show or not.
The first week of January 2008, we will mail out forms for you to use
to sustain your 2007 foals, for the 2008 futurity.
Return that form, copy of the registration papers, and
$25.00 sustaining fee for each to the Futurity Board.
This is due by March 1, 2008 ad will keep your 2007
foals eligible for the 2008 Futurity Classes.
See Rules, Page 2 of 3, Item II, A & B.
